WebThe books of the New Testament were written between the 40s and 90s in the first century A.D. The final books were written by Jesus’ apostle John in old age, somewhere between A.D. 90 and 95. This puts the writings of the New Testament in the first century, and within the lifetime of eyewitnesses who would have been there to know what happened.
