My IAT's are normally in the 100-110°F range for a 80°F ambient temp. My CLT temp are in the 180-190°F range with a hot engine. PS- make sure your battery cables are new and have clean connections. 95 percent of the 'heat soaked starters' I've cured over the years were fixed by replacing both of the battery cables with new, heavier gauge cables.
